1. Ernest William Hughes was my grandfather who I never met. I am Tim Hughes the second son of his third child David Ernest Hughes. I understand my father was 4 yrs old when EW Hughes left UK. In his retirement, my father discovered where his father was buried and visited Te Kuiti, opening a bottle of champagne to celebrate the event.
   Many thanks for your interesting record. I learned much from it.
